Design
Want people pay attention to your advertisement? make it interesting to look at!
I have done many kinds of digital design, such as advertisements, magazine covers and postcards. See some of my designs below!
Featured Project: Beverage Label Redesign
I was tasked with selecting a beverage label and giving it a new design. The beverage I chose was Sheetz Bros. canned coffee, which is available at Sheetz as a convenience item. I decided to give the label a cozy feel using various shades of brown and a script typeface. My proudest accomplishment of this design is the coffee bean taking shape in the steam above the coffee.
Other Projects
Infographic
This infographic, in celebration of the 55th anniversary of Woodstock ‘69, gives fun facts about things that didn’t exactly go right at the festival. From lawsuits to reasons why certain bands didn’t show up, it wasn’t all “Peace and love.”
SCAD Cover
Scholarship and Creative Arts Day (SCAD) at Elizabethtown College is a celebration of art, research, academics, and music. This was my proposed cover design for the program, designed to showcase all of the majors, minors and schools at the college.
Product Ad
For this assignment we chose a product and created an advertisement for it. I chose this set of flash drives because of the flashy packaging. This was also an exercise in copywriting in order to create engaging text for the advertisement.
Stamp Sheet
I was tasked with designing a series of stamps and a stamp sheet to go with them. I chose to create stamps based on the Statue of Liberty. This project was a challenge in designing in a very tiny space and using several small designs together to create one cohesive design.
Postcard
The goal of this postcard was to portray one aspect of Etown, and I chose dining services (which is also my campus job) The theme of my postcard was “Good Food and Friendly Faces” to make dining at Etown sound like an overall fun and enjoyable experience.
